Is the initial enquiry really free?+
Yes. We check whether we can assist, then confirm which paid service—if any—would be suitable. A free enquiry does not include detailed technical findings or a report.
Will you tell me if my mechanic is overcharging?+
We review the information supplied, explain the proposed work and identify questions worth asking about parts, labour and alternatives. We cannot always confirm what repair is required or whether a quote is reasonable without seeing the vehicle.
Do you inspect or repair the vehicle?+
No. These services are remote advice and telephone guidance. They don't include physical inspection, hands-on diagnosis or repair work. If an in-person inspection is required, we'll recommend appropriate next steps.
What if the fault could be dangerous?+
If you suspect a safety-critical fault, stop driving when safe and arrange urgent assistance from a qualified mechanic or roadside provider. Do not wait for an online assessment.
Can you guarantee I will save money?+
No. Some quotes are fair and repairs genuinely necessary. Our role is to help you understand recommendations and make informed decisions, not promise a saving or a particular negotiation outcome.
How do I pay?+
First send an enquiry. If we can assist, we'll confirm the total price, service scope and payment method privately before beginning chargeable work. The website enquiry form does not take payment.
What if I have more than one quote or vehicle?+
The Quote Check covers one quote for one vehicle. The Second Opinion can compare two quotes concerning the same repair issue. Additional vehicles, unrelated issues or extensive documents will be assessed separately and quoted before any extra work.
Can you help if a manufacturer warranty fault keeps returning?+
Yes. Warranty Case Support helps you record each repair attempt, track vehicle downtime, understand dealership processes and prepare a factual evidence file. We don't act as lawyers or guarantee buybacks or loan vehicles.
